17th Annual Private Treaty Club Calf Sale

Sale Information
-
Our sale will consist of the top end of our own calf crop
(both steers & heifers) plus a select few that we have purchased from other
top breeders. We will offer for sale about 20 head.
No cattle will be sold prior to the
sale.

Everything we raised that is not in the sale will be for sale first come first served . This
includes both steers and heifers. They will be for sale as groups
or singles and traders are welcome.

We sell calves in all price ranges and the majority of them are raised by
us. In the past our cattle
have not only been competitive but have won at all levels of competition:
Grand Champion steers at Kansas City, Louisville & Denver to numerous jackpot
and county fair grand champions.

Cattle may be viewed any time starting September 25th. You are invited to stop and visit at anytime starting September 25th.
(Please, no traffic on Sunday, October 16 unless prior bids & arrangements have been made) It is greatly appreciated if you could give us a call in advance
so we can appropriately accommodate you.

devices) 4001 State Road 42 East, Cloverdale, IN 46120
40 miles West of
Indianapolis off of I-70
(Cloverdale / Greencastle exit 41). Take U.S. 231 South 3 miles to State Road 42 East (caution lights at the South end
of town) 1/2 mile. First drive on the left (North) at bottom of hill past
the cell tower. If you pass the first set of grain bins you have gone too far.
Bidding Instructions
-
Base prices will have been established on all of the calves starting
September 25th. If more than one person is interested in the same calf, we will
hold a bid type auction on that particular calf. The auction will be open to
only those persons who place a bid on that calf by 6:00 p.m. EDT, Saturday, October
15th. We ask that all bids be a minimum of $250.

All bidder names will be kept confidential during the bidding
process unless all parties involved in bidding on a particular calf wish to
have their names disclosed.

A person may bid on 2nd or 3rd choice, as long as those bids are turned in by
6:00 p.m. EDT, Saturday, October 15th. (We will bid off your 1st choice first and if
you don't get that calf purchased you may bid on your consecutive choices, If
you do get your first choice purchased you are not bound to your 2nd or 3rd
choice bids)

All bids will be handled by phone (initial bids may be made in
person or by phone anytime starting Sept. 25th.)

We will start bidding off the calves by phone on Saturday
evening and will try to get things finished up in a timely manner. (Please stay
close to a phone while we are bidding off your calf. Anyone who has placed a
bid that we can not contact by Sunday night will forfeit their bid unless
prior arrangements have been made)

All Calves are sold as is with no implied guarantee of
quality, soundness, fertility, disposition, etc. If you question a particular
calf, do not bid on that individual.
